Fuel-Filler Pipe: Installation: Procedure

  1. BREATHER HOSE NO. 1 INSTALLATION NOTE 
    1. Connect the breather hose to the fuel-filler pipe as shown in the figure.

      *a Breather Hose No. 1
      *b Marking
      *c 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.) or Less
  2. JOINT HOSE INSTALLATION NOTE 
    1. Connect the joint hose to the fuel-filler pipe as shown in the figure.

      *a Joint Hose *b Marking
      *c Pipe Spool *d Must be inserted into spool of pipe.
      *e 3.0 mm (0.119 in.) or Less *f Range of the clamp assembly area.
      *g 30° *h 15°
      *i 8.0 to 12.0 mm (0.315 to 0.472 in.) *j Sec. A-A
      *k Up *l Left
  3. INSTALL FUEL-FILLER PIPE 
    1. Install the fuel-filler pipe.

      Torque: 10.5 N*m (107 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)

      *1 Joint Hose *2 Breather Hose No. 1
      *3 Fuel-Filler Cap *4 Dust Cover
      *5 O-ring *6 Protector
      *7 Fuel-Filler Pipe Protector *8 Evaporative Hose
      *9 Joint *10 Hose
      *11 Plug *12 Fuel-Filler Pipe
    2. Install the plug.
    3. Install the hose.
    4. Install the joint.
    5. Install the evaporative hose.
    6. Install the fuel-filler pipe protector.
    7. Install the Protector.

      Torque: 3.05 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf) 

    8. Install the O-ring.
    9. Install the dust cover.
    10. Install the fuel-filler cap.
    11. Install the breather hose No. 1.

      See step  1

    12. Install the joint hose.

      See step  2

    13. Level the vehicle.
    14. Refill the fuel.
    15. Close the fuel-filler lid.
    16. Complete the "AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION".
