Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - ] ).
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
(Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - ] )
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] ).
- REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR
- Disengage the clamp from the body.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 No. 1 Clamp *2 No. 2 Clamp *3 No. 3 Clamp - - - Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.
- Remove the No. 3 clamp from the body.
- Disengage the 2 clamps from the body.
- Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 clamp from the body.
- Remove the bolt and separate the No. 1 clamp from the shock absorber.
- Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.NOTE:
- Keep the front speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.
- Remove the front speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
- Disengage the clamp from the body.
