Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [06/2017 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - 06/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [06/2017 - ] )

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] ).

  4. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Disengage the clamp from the body.

      *1 No. 1 Clamp *2 No. 2 Clamp
      *3 No. 3 Clamp - -
    2. Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.
    3. Remove the No. 3 clamp from the body.
    4. Disengage the 2 clamps from the body.
    5. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 clamp from the body.
    6. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 1 clamp from the shock absorber.
    7. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
      NOTE:
      • Keep the front speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.
      • Remove the front speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
