Installation [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Install the front speed sensor onto the steering knuckle with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Check that the front speed sensor tip and installation portion are free of foreign matter.
      • Install the front speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
    2. Install the No. 1 clamp onto the shock absorber with the bolt and front flexible hose.

      Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Install the No. 2 clamp onto the body with the bolt.

      Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf) 

    4. Engage the 2 clamps onto the body.
    5. Install the No. 3 clamp onto the body.
    6. Connect the front speed sensor connector.
    7. Engage the clamp onto the body.
  2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 ).

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 )

  4. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL 

    (Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [11/2015 - ] )
