Removal [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a 4 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the 2 hexagon screws.

    2. Remove the 4 screws and 3 clips.
    3. Remove the grommet to separate the front fender splash shield sub-assembly from the vehicle body.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Turn back the front fender splash shield sub-assembly.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the front speed sensor from the vehicle body.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts to separate the front speed sensor clamp from the front shock absorber assembly and vehicle body.

    5. Disengage the clamp from the front shock absorber assembly.

    6. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
      NOTE:

      Prevent foreign matter from adhering to the front speed sensor tip.
