DTC P0125: Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control [06/2016 - 07/2018]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
5. Read the DTCs.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC P0125 is output	A
   DTC P0125 and other DTCs are output	B

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P0125 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

GO TO DTC CHART 

(Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [06/2016 - 03/2017] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [03/2017 - 07/2018] )

1. Inspect the thermostat (Refer to INSPECTION [06/2016 - ] ).

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE THERMOSTAT 

(Refer to REMOVAL [06/2016 - ] )

Result: 

OK

1. Check for defects in the cooling system that might cause the system to be too cold, such as abnormal radiator fan operation or any modifications.

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
