Monitor Description

This monitor determines if the transmission revolution sensor (SP2) outputs abnormal signals or not, by comparing the vehicle speed based the transmission revolution sensor (NT) signal with the VSC vehicle speed. If the difference in these vehicle speeds exceeds 15%, the TCM interprets this as a malfunction, lights up the MIL and stores the DTCs.
