General Maintenance [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT DRIVE BELT
- Inspect the drive belt. (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]
).
- REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER
- Replace the engine oil and oil filter. (Refer to REPLACEMENT [08/2015 - ]
).
- INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT
- Inspect the engine coolant. (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]
).
- REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT
- Replace the engine coolant. (Refer to REPLACEMENT [08/2015 - ]
).
- INSPECT EXHAUST PIPES AND MOUNTINGS
- Visually check the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.
- REPLACE SPARK PLUGS
- Replace the spark plugs. (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2015 - ]
).
- INSPECT AIR CLEANER FILTER
- Remove the air cleaner filter.
- Visually check that the air cleaner filter is not excessively damaged or oily. If necessary, replace the air cleaner filter with a new one.
- REPLACE AIR CLEANER FILTER
- Replace the air cleaner filter. (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]
).
- INSPECT FUEL LINES, FUEL LINE CONNECTIONS, FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BAND
- Visually check the fuel lines and hoses for cracks, leakage, loose connections and deformation. Also, visually check the tank bands for looseness.
- INSPECT FUEL TANK CAP GASKET
- Inspect the fuel tank cap gasket. (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2015 - 08/2022]

).
