Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

1. Install the engine room ECU box to the ECM.

1. Engage the 3 claws to install the engine room ECU cover to the engine room ECU box.

1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the engine room ECU box with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) 

1. Install the ECM bracket to the engine room ECU cover with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) 

1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the ECM with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) 

2. Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.

   Bolt (A) 

   Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

   Bolt (B) 

   Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf) 

   NOTE:

   If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

3. Engage the cooler pipe clamp.
4. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.
5. Engage the wire harness clamp.

6. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.
   NOTE:

   • When connecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.
   • Be sure to securely connect the ECM connectors.
