ECM (for Sedan): Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Replace the ECM with a new one if necessary.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
REMOVE COWL SIDE VENTILATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
REMOVE COWL SIDE VENTILATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 6
REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 7
REMOVE FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL
1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front air shutter seal.

REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER
1. Disengage the claw and disconnect the wire harness.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and remove the cowl top panel outer center bracket.

3. Remove the 8 bolts and remove the cowl top panel outer.

REMOVE ECM

1. Remove the 2 lock knobs and harness clamp.
2. Disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.

3. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts and remove the ECM.

1. Remove the 2 screws and the ECM bracket.
