Yaw Rate And Deceleration Sensor: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (for Automatic Transmission) 
    1. Install the yaw rate and deceleration sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Make sure that the sensor is at the correct angle when installing.

    2. Connect the yaw rate and deceleration sensor connector.
    3. Engage the clamp to the hole of the sensor bracket.
  2. REMOVE YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR (for Manual Transmission) 
    1. Install the yaw rate and deceleration sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N*m (148 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Make sure that the sensor is at the correct angle when installing.

    2. Connect the yaw rate and deceleration sensor connector.
  3. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 40
  4. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4WD)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 41
  5. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 42
  6. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 43
  7. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION 

    Refer to CALIBRATION

  8. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL 

    Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE
