Front Seat Side Airbag Assembly: Installation: Installation

INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/o Seatback Board)
WARNING:
- The nuts must not be reused.
- Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
1. Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
2. Engage the 2 clamps.
INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board)
WARNING:
- The nuts must not be reused.
- Make sure that the front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
1. Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seatback Board) . Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 17
INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (w/o Seatback Board)
1. Engage the claw and clamp to install the airbag wire harness.
2. Install the airbag wire harness to the seat track control cable clamp.
3. Engage the 2 hooks.

INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 17
INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 21
INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 19
INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD (w/ Seatback Board) . Refer to REASSEMBLY - Step 22
