Combination Meter: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the tilt lever to lower the steering wheel assembly.
    2. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the guide, claw and 3 clips, and then remove the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

  4. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides.
      NOTE:

      When removing the combination meter assembly, be careful not to break the guide.

    3. Pull the combination meter assembly, disconnect the connector, and remove the combination meter assembly.

      NOTE:

      When removing the combination meter assembly, do not damage the upper instrument panel sub-assembly or combination meter assembly.
