Typical Enabling Conditions

Monitor runs whenever following DTCs are not present None
Battery voltage 8 V or more
Starter OFF
One of the following conditions is met: (a) or (b)
(a) Knock sensor circuit error Judged
(b) Knock sensor serial communication error Judged
