Removal (From 12/2010): Removal

  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL

  2. REMOVE CENTER AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 15
  4. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 21
  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 23
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
  8. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Turn over the carpet, remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.

    2. Remove the nut from the control shaft lever.

    3. Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.
    4. Remove the clip and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    5. Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission floor shift assembly.

    6. Pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.
