Steering Angle Sensor: Installation: Installation

INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
1. Install the steering sensor onto the spiral cable.

PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 1
INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER LWR . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 2
CENTER SPIRAL CABLE . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 3
INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 7
INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 1
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
- Make sure that the cable has been disconnected from the battery terminal for at least 2 seconds before reconnecting the cable.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
