Ignition Coil And Spark Plug: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 22
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 8
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 24
  5. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the cylinder head cover and timing chain cover.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the cylinder head cover.

  6. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 8 ignition coil connectors.

    2. Remove the 8 bolts and 8 ignition coils.
  7. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 
    1. Remove the 8 spark plugs.
