Steering Pad Switch: Installation

  1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH 
    1. Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch LH.
    2. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf)

    3. Engage the clamp.
    4. Connect the connector to the spiral cable.

  2. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch assembly.
    2. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf)

    3. Engage the clamp.

    4. Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch.
    5. Install the screw.

      Torque: 2.4 N*m (24 kgf*cm, 21 in.*lbf)

    6. Engage the clamp.
    7. Connect the connector to the spiral cable.
  3. INSTALL STEERING PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See DISPOSAL )
  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See DISPOSAL )
  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  7. INSPECT STEERING PAD  (See DISPOSAL )
  8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
