System Outline

The Main Opening-and-Closing Operations
1. By pushing the remote control SW, the back door can be automatically opened and closed.
2. The back door can also be automatically opened and closed by pushing the operation SW which is formed into the overhead console.
3. Assist operation:
  If the back door is pulled down from the full open position, the assist operation will activated and the door will continue to close automatically even if it is released.
  
  * The automatic opening and closing operations for the back door are only possible when the power back door main SW in the instrument panel in the driver seat side is ON.
Consideration of Safety
1. A power back door touch sensor has been adopted.
  If the power back door touch sensor which is positioned on the end of the back door detects a jam or obstacle during the automatic operation, the door movement will be reversed in the full open direction.
2. If a jam or obstacle in the back door is detected by a speed change in the movement of the back door during an automatic operation, the door movement will be reversed in opposite direction to which it was moving.
3. If the remote control SW or the satellite SW is operated by someone feeling in danger, etc. while an automatic operation is occurring, the door will be reversed in opposite direction to which it was moving.
