On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Operate the front wiper motor.
    2. Stop the front wiper motor operation.
    3. Check the automatic stop position.

    OK: 

    The front wipers stop at the positions shown in the illustration  .

    If the result is not as specified, the front wiper motor may have a malfunction.

    AREA MEASUREMENT REFERENCE

    Area Measurement
    A 19.5 to 34.5 mm (0.768 to 1.36 in.)
    B 25.5 to 40.5 mm (1.00 to 1.59 in.)
