When any of the following conditions is met, the personal light*1, center room light and rear room light fade in.
- Any door is opened.
- Any door is unlocked when the ignition switch is off and all doors are closed.
- Ignition switch is turned from ACC to off when all doors are closed.

| Fade out immediately |
When either of the following conditions is met, the personal light*1, center room light and rear room light fade out.
- Ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON when all doors are closed.
- All doors are locked when the ignition switch is off.

| Illuminate for approximately 15 seconds, and then fade out |
All doors are closed when the ignition switch is off. |
| Fade out (Battery saving control) |
When all of the following conditions are met, the main body ECU turns off the lights.
- A key is not inserted in the ignition key cylinder.
- There is no change in the condition of the doors for 20 minutes.
When any of the following conditions is met, the battery save timer will be cleared.
- A key is inserted in the ignition key cylinder.
- Any of the doors is opened.
