Removal (To 12/2010): Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
  3. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  4. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
    4. Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly.
    5. Remove the nut from the cylinder block.

    6. Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.

    7. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp stay.

    8. Remove the bolt and bracket.
