Transmission Control Cable: Removal

  1. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  2. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the lock clip and disconnect the control cable from the shift lever.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the control cable from the vehicle body.

    3. Disengage the 3 claws and disconnect the control cable.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the control cable from the vehicle body.

    5. Remove the nut and clip then disconnect the control cable.
