Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION  ).
  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Check if the DTC(s) relating to the speed sensor circuit is output (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).

      Result 

      RESULT CHART

      Result Proceed to
      DTC not output A
      DTC output B

    B: REPAIR SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK TIRE SIZE 
    1. Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.

      OK: 

      All 4 wheels are the same size and in the same condition. 

    NG: REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).
    2. Drive the vehicle at more than 13 mph (20 km/h) for more than 60 seconds.
    3. Check if the same DTC is detected (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).

      Result 

      RESULT CHART

      Result Proceed to
      DTC output A
      DTC not output B

    B: END 

    A: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID  (See DISASSEMBLY )
