Transponder Key Amplifier: Installation

  1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER 
    1. Engage the 2 claws and install the transponder key amplifier.

    2. Connect the connector.
  2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Engage the claw and 5 clips and install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts.
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE 
    1. Install the instrument panel finish plate.

  4. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUBASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see INSTALLATION ).

  7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see INSTALLATION ).

  8. INSTALL FOOTREST CLIP  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side (see INSTALLATION ).
