System Outline

The interior light is controlled by the main body ECU. This system has following features.

1. Normal Operation 

   * When one of the doors is opened, the room lamps and open door warning light will turn on. When all the doors are closed, the room lamps and open door warning light will turn off.

2. Illuminated Entry System 

   * If a door is unlocked by a key operation or transmitter operation, or if a door is opened or closed, the illuminated entry system turns the room lamps ON for 15 seconds.

   * If the ignition SW is turned to the ON (ACC) or ON (IG) position or if all the doors are locked during the 15 seconds in which these lamps are ON, they will immediately turn OFF.
