DTC P0101 Mass Air Flow Circuit Range / Performance Problem: Description

Refer to DTC P0100  .

DTC TROUBLE DETECTION CONDITION CHART

DTC No. DTC Detection Conditions Trouble Areas
P0101 Conditions (a), (b) and (c) continue for more than 10 seconds (2-trip detection logic):
  1. Engine speed is less than 2,000 rpm
  2. Engine coolant temperature is 70°C (158°F) or higher
  3. Output voltage of MAF meter is more than 2.2 V (varies with throttle position sensor voltage)
  • Mass Air Flow (MAF) meter
  • Air induction system
  • PCV hose connections
Condition (a) and (b) continue for more than 6 seconds (2-trip detection logic):
  1. Engine speed is more than 500 rpm
  2. Output voltage of MAF meter is less than 0.93 V (varies with throttle position sensor voltage)
