Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 
    1. Remove the power window motor.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the motor connector according to the table below.
        NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

        Standard 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

    Measurement Condition Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1    		 Motor gear rotates clockwise
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2    		 Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

    NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR - WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the M1 and 14 connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    M1-3 (DU) - l4-2 Always Below 1 Ω
    M1-4 (DD) - I4-1 Always Below 1 Ω
    M1-3 (DU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    M1-4 (DD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
