CERTIFICATION ECU (w/ Smart Key System): Removal

NOTE: When removing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly), eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:

Refer to the procedure up to Remove Instrument Panel Safety Pad Sub-assembly (See REMOVAL ).
REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)
1. Disconnect each connector.
2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the ECU aggregation cover.

3. Remove the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) as shown in the illustration.
NOTE: Be careful when removing the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly). If the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) is dropped, replace it with a new one.
