Main Opening and Closing Operations
1. The power back door's automatic open and close operations can be activated by pushing the remote control switch.
2. The power back door's automatic open and close operations can be activated by pushing the operation switch located in the instrument panel.
  Assist operation:
3. The power back door's automatic close operations can be activated by pulling on the back door when it is in the full open position.
4. The power back door's automatic opening and closing operations only operate when the power back door main switch on the driver's seat instrument panel is ON.
Safety Considerations
1. A power back door sensor assemblies has been adopted for the power back door.
2. If the power back door sensor assemblies, installed on the edge of the power back door, detects a jam or obstacle during the automatic operation, the door movement will be reversed, and it will then move in the open direction.
3. If a jam or obstacle is detected in the power back door by a speed change in the movement of the power back door during the automatic operation, the door movement will be reversed and it will then move in the opposite direction.
4. If the remote control switch or the satellite switch is operated during the automatic operation, should someone feel in danger etc. the door movement will be reversed and it will then move in the opposite direction.
