Inspection Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition N9-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V - Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH (See REMOVAL ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (U) - 3 (B) UP Below 1 Ω 1 (D) - 2 (SD) UP Below 1 Ω 4 (U) - 5 (SU) OFF Below 1 Ω 1 (D) - 2 (SD) OFF Below 1 Ω 4 (U) - 5 (SU) DOWN Below 1 Ω 1 (D) - 3 (B) DOWN Below 1 Ω - Reinstall the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH.
NG: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR LH)
- Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
- Disconnect the N10 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition N9-1 (D) - N10-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω N9-4 (U) - N10-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω N9-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher N9-4 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
- Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH (See REMOVAL ).
- Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
OK
MEASUREMENT AND SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHARTMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1
Battery negative (-) → 2Motor gear rotates counterclockwise Battery positive (+) → 2
Battery negative (-) → 1Motor gear rotates clockwise - Reinstall the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH.

OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH)
- Disconnect the M2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Condition Specified Condition M2-12 (U) - N9-5 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω M2-15 (D) - N9-2 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω M2-12 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher M2-15 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
- Reconnect the power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
