Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When replacing the ABS and TRACTION actuator, perform the zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION
).
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
Result

B: REPAIR CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A: Go to next step.
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Using Techstream's Active Test, generate a control command, and then check that the SLIP indicator light operates.
ABS/VSC/TRAC:
CONTROL RANGE AND DIAGNOSTIC NOTETester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Slip Indicator Lamp Slip indicator light Indicator light ON / OFF Observe combination meter OK: The SLIP indicator light turns ON and OFF.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: REPLACE ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
- Using Techstream's Active Test, generate a control command, and then check that the SLIP indicator light operates.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER
- Inspect the combination meter (see HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER
OK: REPLACE ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
