Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When replacing the ABS and TRACTION actuator, perform the zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION
).
- INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
Result

B: REPAIR CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A: Go to next step.
- Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (VSC WARNING LIGHT)
- Select the Active Test, generate a control command, and then check that the VSC warning light operates.
ABS/VSC/TRAC:
CONTROL RANGE AND DIAGNOSTIC NOTETester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note VSC Warning Lamp VSC warning light Warning light ON / OFF Observe combination meter OK: The VSC warning light turns on or off.
OK: REPLACE ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
NG: Go to next step.
- Select the Active Test, generate a control command, and then check that the VSC warning light operates.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Check the combination meter (see HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
NG: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK: REPLACE ABS AND TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
