System Outline

When the power SW is IG ON, turning ON rear DEF SW on the steering wheel sends a signal to the A/C control assembly. Then the A/C control assembly sends electricity to TERMINAL Rr DEF, which activates the DEF relay and the mirror heater relay. As a result, the rear DEF SW and mirror heater are turned on.

Turning the rear DEF SW on the multi-display to ON sends a signal to the A/C control assembly. Then the same action follows as above.

When the rear window defogger and mirror heater are in operation, a signal is input to the combination meter, lighting the rear DEF indicator in combination meter.
