Air Conditioning Control Assembly: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 5 screws.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the heater control housing sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the heater control base sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL KNOB 
    1. Remove the heater control knob.
  4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE: When disassembling the air conditioning amplifier assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

    1. Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and remove the cover plate.

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly as shown in the illustration.
