Inspection Procedure
- CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH) (POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the 11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH) (POWER SOURCE) VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 11-3 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V - Reconnect the 11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH)
- Remove the power window regulator switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the switch when the switch is operated.
Standard resistance
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH) SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1-2
3-4UP Below 1 Ω 4-5
1-2OFF Below 1 Ω 2-3
4-5DOWN Below 1 Ω - Reinstall the power window regulator switch assembly.
NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH)
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SWITCH (REAR LH) - MOTOR (REAR LH))
- Disconnect the 11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the 12 power window regulator motor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
SWITCH (REAR LH) - MOTOR (REAR LH) SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition I1-4-I2-1 Below 1 Ω I1-2-I2-2 Below 1 Ω I1-4 or 12-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher I1-2 or I2-2 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the 11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
- Reconnect the 12 power window regulator motor assembly connector.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (REAR LH)
- Remove the power window regulator motor assembly.
- Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
OK
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (REAR LH) INSPECTIONMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) --> 1
Battery negative (-) --> 2Motor gear rotates clockwise Battery positive (+) --> 2
Battery negative (-) --> 1Motor gear rotates counterclockwise - Reinstall the power window regulator motor assembly.
NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (REAR LH)
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - SWITCH (REAR LH))
- Disconnect the G1 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the 11 power widow regulator switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
MASTER SWITCH - SWITCH (REAR LH) SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition G1-12 (U) - I1-5 Below 1 Ω G1-13 (D) - I1-1 Below 1 Ω G1-12 (U) or I1-5 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher G1-13 (D) or I1-1 - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher - Reconnect the G1 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Reconnect the 11 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (REAR LH SWITCH)
- Inspect the rear LH switch.
- Remove the power window regulator master switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the switch when the switch is operated.

NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK: GO TO POWER WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE AT ALL
- Inspect the rear LH switch.
