Engine Control System (2TR-FE): ECM: Removal

NOTE: Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (see REGISTRATION ).

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE ECM
1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and nut, then remove the ECM.

REMOVE ECM BRACKET
1. Remove the 3 screws, then remove the ECM bracket.

REMOVE ECM BRACKET NO.2
1. Remove the 2 screws, then remove the ECM bracket No. 2.
