Inspection Procedure
HINT:
When using the intelligent tester, start the inspection from step 1 and when not using the intelligent tester, start from step 2.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER WINDOW UP/DOWN)
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- According to the display on the tester, perform the "ACTIVE TEST".

NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH
NG: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU)
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR
NG: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - REAR POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the power window control switch rear connector.
- Measure the voltage between terminals P3-4 (B) and P3-3 (E), and terminals P4-4 (B) and P4-3 (E) of the power window control switch rear.
OK: Voltage: 10 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR - REAR POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH)
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
