Inspection Procedure

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start the inspection from step 1 and when not using the intelligent tester, start from step  2.

1. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER WINDOW POSITION) 
   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
   2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
   3. According to the display on the tester, read the DATA LIST.

      BACK-DOOR

      P/W POSITION	Back door power window position/CLOSE or OPEN	CLOSE: Back door power window is fully closed OPEN: Back door power window is opened	-

      OK: Indication on the tester switches between CLOSE and OPEN in accordance with the back door power window status. 

   OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  

   NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 

2. CHECK BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW PULSE SENSOR 

   NG: REPLACE BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY 

   OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW PULSE SENSOR - BACK DOOR ECU) 

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

   OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
