Inspection Procedure

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start the inspection from step 1 and when not using the intelligent tester, start from step  2.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (POWER WINDOW UP/DOWN) 
   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
   2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
   3. According to the display on the tester, perform the ACTIVE TEST.

      Item	Test Details	Diagnostic Note
      P/W UP/DOWN	Drive the P/W Motor UP/DOWN	During this ACTIVE TEST, jam protection, caught detection can be monitored. (Refer to the DATA LIST  for details)

      OK: Front passenger side power window operates normally. 

   OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  

   NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 

2. INSPECT FRONT PASSENGER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR 

   NG: REPLACE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR 

   OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR - PASSENGER DOOR ECU) 

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

   OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
