System Outline

The moon roof can be operated using the sliding roof control SW, when the ignition SW is in the ON position or during the key-off operation.

Jam Protection Function 

During a close or tilt down operation, if the system detects a jam, the motor rotates in the opposite direction.

Key-Off Operation 

If all the doors are closed, the sliding roof can be operated for 43 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned to OFF from ON. However, if and of the front doors are opened, the sliding roof will no longer remain operable.
