Rear Wheel Alignment: Adjustment

  1. INSPECT TIRE 
    1. Inspect the tire (see TIRE AND WHEEL SYSTEM ).
  2. MEASURE VEHICLE HEIGHT 
    1. Measure the vehicle height (see FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT ).
  3. INSPECT TOE-IN 

    Standard toe-in 

    STANDARD TOE-IN SPECIFICATIONS

    Item Specified Condition
    Toe-in (total) A + B: 0°11' +-10' (0.18° +-0.17°)
    C - D: 2.3 +-1 mm (0.09 +-0.04 in.)

    If the toe-in is not within the specified range, inspect the suspension parts and replace them if necessary.

  4. INSPECT CAMBER 
    1. Install the camber-caster-kingpin gauge or set the vehicle on the wheel alignment tester.
    2. Inspect the camber.

      Standard camber 

      STANDARD CAMBER SPECIFICATIONS

      Tire Size: 215/70R16 -0°55' +-45' (-0.92 +-0.75°)
      30' (0.5°) or less
      Tire Size: 225/65R17
      Tire Size: 235/55R18
      -1°04' +-45' (-1.07 +-0.75°)
      30' (0.5°) or less
      Tire Size: 225/65R17* -0°52' +-45' (-0.87 +-0.75°)
      30' (0.5°) or less

      HINT:

      • *: w/3rd seat
      • Camber is not adjustable. If the measurement is not within the specified range, inspect the suspension parts for damage and/or wear, and replace them if necessary.
