Rear Shock Absorber With Coil Spring: Disposal

DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH
1. Fully extend the shock absorber rod.
2. Make a hole in the cylinder somewhere between A and B shown in Fig 1 to discharge the gas inside using a drill.
  CAUTION: Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about, so always use the proper safety equipment.

  NOTE: The gas is colorless, odorless and nonpoisonous.
