Lower Instrument Panel: Removal
- TABLE OF BOLT, SCREW AND NUT

All bolts, screws and nuts relevant to installing and removing the instrument panel are shown along with an alphabetical code in the table below.
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD
- Remove the instrument panel (see REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER
- REMOVE NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER
- REMOVE STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE TILT LEVER BRACKET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
- REMOVE NO. 1 CENTER CLUSTER CUSHION
- REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER
- Using a clip remover, remove the clip from the instrument panel finish panel lower center.
- Detach the 4 claws and 2 clips, and remove the instrument panel finish panel.
- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK COVER
- Detach the 6 claws and remove the glove compartment door lock cover.
- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 4 screws and glove compartment door lock.
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER
- Detach the 4 claws and remove the instrument panel finish panel.
- REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Detach the 2 claws and remove the instrument panel under cover.
- REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU
- REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY LOWER
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Using a clip remover, remove the 8 clips from the duct and lower instrument panel.
- Remove the 6 bolts.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disconnect all connectors, and detach all clamps.
- Remove the instrument panel.
