Microphone Amplifier: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the 3 screws and print board.

2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the amplifier cover.
3. Disconnect the connector.

4. Remove the microphone amplifier.
