Starting System (1ZZ-FE): Starter: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
  4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the starter connector [A].
    2. Open the terminal cover.
    3. Remove the nut [C], then remove the starter wire.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts, then remove the starter.
