One-Way Clutch: Disassembly

  1. INSPECT 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2 (See  INSPECTION   ) 
  2. DISCONNECT REAR PLANETARY GEAR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 1 way clutch No. 2 from the rear planetary gear assembly.
  3. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH OUTER RACE HOLE SNAP RING 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 1 way clutch outer race snap ring and retainers from the 1 way clutch outer race.

  4. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2 HOLE SNAP RING 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 1 way clutch No. 2 hole snap rings and retainers from the 1 way clutch outer race.
  5. REMOVE 1 WAY CLUTCH NO.2 
    1. Remove the 1 way clutch No. 2 from the 1 way clutch outer race.
