Front Wiper Motor: Removal

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER 
  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly at the automatic stop position.
    2. Remove the nut and the FR wiper arm & blade assembly RH.
  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the nut and the FR wiper arm & blade assembly LH.
  4. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL 
    1. Using a clip remover, disengage the meshing of 8 clips and remove the hood to cowl top seal.

  5. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH 
    1. Remove the clip.
    2. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the cowl top ventilator louver RH.

  6. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER LH 
    1. Remove the clip.
    2. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the cowl top ventilator louver LH.

  7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts.
    3. Slide the wiper link assembly to the passenger's side. Disengage the meshing of the rubber pin and remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

  8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a screwdriver, and disengage the meshing of rod at the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, and disengage the meshing of rod at the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly.

    3. Using a Torx socket wrench, remove the 2 Torx bolts and the windshield wiper motor assembly.
