Front Cooling Unit: Installation

  1. INSTALL COOLING UNIT 
    1. Install the cooling unit with the 4 screws and 2 nuts.
    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL ANTENNA RELAY 
    1. Install the antenna relay with the 2 screws.
    2. Connect the connector.
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT ASSEMBLY

  4. CONNECT LIQUID TUBE AND SUCTION TUBE 
    1. Lubricate 4 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the tubes.

      Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent 

    2. Connect the liquid tube, suction tubes and piping clamp.

      HINT:

      After connection, check the claw engagement of the piping clamp.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see TERMINALS OF ECU ).
  8. CHARGE REFRIGERANT (See  REPLACEMENT   ) 
  9. WARM UP ENGINE (See  REPLACEMENT   ) 
  10. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT (See  REPLACEMENT   )
