Engine Oil Cooler: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL COOLER 
    1. Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.
    2. Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler.
    3. Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the head of the union bolt.

    4. Install the oil cooler with the plate washer and union bolt.

      Torque: 68.6 N*m (700 kgf*cm, 51 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  REPLACEMENT   ) 
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. ADD ENGINE OIL (See  REPLACEMENT   )
  6. ADD ENGINE  COOLANT 
  7. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS 
    1. Check for engine coolant leaks (see COOLING SYSTEM )
  8. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL (See  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION   )
