Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1) 
    1. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
      2. Fig 1: Locating Oil Control Valve Bolt (For Bank 1)

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
  2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2) 
    1. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

      Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.

  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE VW RESONATOR (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP W7 INLET (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2  (See INSTALLATION )
